One Park Drive Welcomes New Residents
Designed by leading architects, Herzog & de Meuron, One Park Drive, the 58-storey cylindrical-shaped building in Wood Wharf, is nearing completion and has recently opened its doors to new residents.
Distinctive exterior design
Situated in a 23-acre neighbourhood of around 20 buildings, One Park Drive is Canary Wharf’s signature residential building and the tallest residential block in Wood Wharf. It’s the also the first residential skyscraper for the Swiss duo, who are famous for designing Tate Modern’s Switch House.
Divided into four visible categories, which are layered in alternating stepped floor plans, One Park Drive has an eye-catching exterior design that makes it stand out from the surrounding commercial towers. It means each apartment has a balcony and bay window and generous views over the surrounding docklands and across London.
Types of apartments
Despite its cylindrical appearance, the majority of the apartments are regular in shape with straight walls. Levels 2-9 are large and airy Loft apartments which come with substantial wraparound terraces and incredible water views. Levels 10-31 are the Cluster apartments and make up the majority of the building and are studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments. The Bay apartments on the top floors enjoy double-height terraces set back into the building. While Penthouses are available on the top two floors.
70% of units have now been sold.
Outstanding interior design
The Loft apartments on the lower floors feature interiors by London design consultancy Bowler James Brindley. These apartments have contemporary, light, airy spaces, with sliding walls, resin floors and mother of pearl clad bathrooms.
The units in the upper floors are designed by interior studio Goddard Littlefair with interior finishes that include exposed concrete walls, profiled timber panelling, pivoting doors and natural stone.
